Plants grow 3-6 feet high with bright yellow flowers. Spreads by Rhizome under ground. Spreads 2-3 feet.

Growing conditions
Easy to grow. Plant in Full to full shade in medium moist to moist area. Space 3’ apart. Can be aggresive and tough to remove, plant in an area where it will be welcome.
Uses
Attracts pollinators and birds. Blooms July and August.
Cut flowers,
Young Stems can be eaten like celery and dried.
Medicinal: A tea made from the root (mixed with Caulophyllum thalictroides) is used in the treatment of indigestion. A poultice of the flowers (mixed with Agastache anisatum and Solidago) is applied to burns.
Dye: Green dye made from the flowers
