Plant Description

A determinate tomato variety with bright red, round fruits averaging 6 oz. Developed for short seasons, it produces early and abundantly on sturdy, compact plants.

Developed in Canada for northern climates.

 

Hardiness Zone

Best suited for zones 3-9 as an annual.

 

Resistances

Tolerant to cool weather and short seasons but not resistant to major diseases.

 

Growing Conditions

Prefers full sun, well-drained soil, and consistent moisture. pH 6.0-6.8.

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant after frost danger.

 

Growing Tips

Provide support for heavy fruiting. Water consistently to prevent cracking. Prune lightly for airflow.

 

Uses

Great for fresh eating, slicing, and sauces.
