Native to
Originates from domesticated cucumbers developed from South Asian species.

Often bred for resistance to powdery mildew and some common cucumber diseases (varies by variety).
 

Growing conditions
Full sun, warm soil, sheltered from wind; thrives in containers or small garden spaces.
